Builders and County inspectors often do not go on the roof due to insurance constraints. As a result, shingles damaged during installation are never discovered. The number of damaged shingles can be just 1 or 2, or there can be multiple damaged shingles.  If people do not choose a home inspection for their new construction home, they will not know they have damaged shingles on their roof.
